October 9, 2007 - Park and Ride

There will be three Park and Ride locations offered for parade spectators. A roundtrip will cost $1.00 and shuttles will run from 10 am through 6 pm. You will get back on your shuttle in the same location you were dropped off.

The three locations are:

State Fair -- Enter fairgrounds at Reno and Delmar Gardens (Gate 6), located between May and Portland Avenues. Proceed north on Delmar Gardens to fenced lot on right. Approach fairgrounds via I-44, exit NW 10th eastbound to May, right on May to Reno, left on Reno to Delmar Gardens. Also approach via I-40 westbound, exiting May Avenue, turn right, proceed north to Reno, turn left Drop off is at R. S. Kerr and Robinson

Crossroads Mall -- Use lot to west side of mall complex. Approach mall from either I-35 or I-240. Drop off is at Reno & Michey Mantle

Remington Park -- Use northwest lot. Approach from I-44, exit Martin Luther King, proceed south to Remington Park entrance. N.E. 6th and Oklahoma

The Parade Committee would like to thank the many groups that submitted an application to participate in the parade.

Due to the tremendous response we've been able to cast the parade and are excited about a fantastic event for the people of Oklahoma to celebrate their Centennial.

The final date for form submission for parade applicants has been extended to September 22, 2006.
